We are incredibly fortunate to work with organisations committed to providing the best possible treatment, care and support for sick kids and their families.
Since 2014, the Federal Government has generously contributed an incredible $6,800,000 to the Nine Telethon. As a presenting partner, the Federal Government actively demonstrates its support to improving the health outcomes for the sickest kids in Queensland and we are immensely grateful for their ongoing support.
Our partnership with the Queensland Government makes an invaluable difference to the lives of our patients and their families. With the ongoing support of the Queensland Government, the Queensland Children’s Hospital has become truly a world-class paediatric facility providing the best care for our sickest kids around Queensland.
The Channel Nine Telethon is the biggest event in our calendar each year. Channel Nine’s state-wide appeal harnesses the generous spirit of Queenslanders towards a very special cause – our children. Funds raised have helped the Children’s Hospital Foundation fund millions of dollars towards life-saving medical research, investing in critical medical equipment, and providing comfort, entertainment, family support and care programs.
Over many decades and generations, Golden Casket has donated millions of dollars to the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Golden Casket’s ongoing support has life-changing impacts for sick kids and their families, through funding for critical research programs.
Woolworths and the Children’s Hospital Foundation have a truly special partnership, spanning more than 30 years. Since 1986, Woolworths team members and their generous customers have raised more than $60 million to work wonders for sick kids and their families.
Sunsuper has proudly supported the Children’s Hospital Foundation since 2015. At our annual Channel Nine Telethon, the wonderful staff at Sunsuper Contact Centre open their doors to Children’s Hospital Foundation volunteers taking calls from around the country and receiving generous donations that will fund research and help very sick children.
The University of Queensland
We recognise and are very proud of the long-standing, multi-faceted relationship with the University of Queensland. The Children’s Hospital Foundation has consistently supported the research being carried out by, and in conjunction with the university; and has benefited not only from the findings of that research, but also from the contribution of the students across all facets of health science, who hone their studies and dedicate their time in the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
We are delighted to welcome Hyundai as a presenting partner to Nine Telethon this year. This new and exciting partnership has already seen an incredible commitment from Hyundai with vehicles and exclusive experiences being discounted and donated to work wonders for sick kids. We look forward to working in partnership with Hyundai for many years and continuing to build on our shared vision of helping sick kids get better quicker so they can go home sooner.
Nova 106.9 has generously come on board to support our annual Bids to Help Sick Kids campaign, in the lead-up to the Channel Nine Telethon. Nova 106.9 will raise the profile of the Children’s Hospital Foundation through its programming, and importantly, raise vital funds to help improve the lives of sick kids and their families.
GOA Billboards have been a media partner with Nine Telethon since 2014. This partnership forms an integral part of the Nine Telethon, providing significant assistance to increase the reach of messaging and awareness to support the health of children throughout Queensland.
We are delighted to welcome Queensland Ballet as a new partner to this year's Nine Telethon. Queensland Ballet created some special memories for one of our 2020 Ambassadors Sofia and will be doing a special performance at the inaugural Telethon Kids Ball.
Queensland Cricketer's Club
The Queensland Cricketers Club is a new Nine Telethon partner for 2020 who are kindly hosting the inaugural Telethon Kids Ball. Due to their generosity brave kids and their families will enjoy an incredible afternoon of entertainment.
The Coffee Club
Over 20 years ago, The Coffee Club made a commitment to help find a cure for childhood cancer. To this day, The Coffee Club remains passionate about raising money for the Children’s Hospital Foundation through The Coffee Club Telethon Ball. Through the annual event, The Coffee Club has raised more than $1.8 million towards medical research to find faster diagnoses, better treatments and ultimately cures for the most devastating childhood cancers.
The Prop House
The Prop House and VM+ have proudly supported Children’s Hospital Foundation for many years. The team continues to deliver high quality bespoke styling and props for multiple events throughout the year. They provide a professional partnership that’s driven by an underlying passion for helping Queensland families. This relationship has grown in 2020 to include glamorous Cinderella themed styling at the inaugural Nine Telethon Kids Ball, helping to make a fairy tale wish come true for many families.
